Terms & Conditions

The terms that govern entry to the awards and use of our website.

Last updated: October 2026

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before entering Best British Business Awards or using our website.

01About these terms

These terms and conditions govern your use of the Best British Business Awards website and your participation in the awards. Best British Business Awards is a trading style of B2B Growth Hub Limited, company number 13818816, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ, corporate office Level 18, 40 Bank Street, Canary Wharf, London, United Kingdom, E14 5AB. By entering the awards or using this website, you agree to these terms.

02Eligibility

To enter the awards, businesses must:

  • Be based in, or actively trading within, London Olympia and the surrounding region
  • Provide accurate and truthful information in their entry
  • Hold the right to submit any materials included in their entry

03Entries and nominations

Entry to the awards is free. Businesses may enter as many categories as they wish, and members of the public may nominate a business they believe deserves recognition. We reserve the right to verify entries and to move an entry to a more appropriate category where necessary.

When you confirm a nomination, our Nomination Confirmation and Participation Policy at /nomination-policy also applies. It explains what confirming means, your responsibilities, and why we ask for business information only.

04Judging

All entries are reviewed and scored by an independent panel of judges. Judging is carried out impartially and in good faith. The judges’ decisions are final. To keep judging fair for everyone, we do not discuss individual scores, but we are always happy to help with any other question.

05Use of entry information

By entering, you grant us permission to use your business name, logo and a summary of your entry for the purpose of promoting the awards, announcing finalists and winners, and related publicity, in line with our Privacy Policy.

06Photos, videos and stories

Photos, videos and stories you add to a nomination, or to your public voting page, may be featured on the Best British Business Awards website and our other awards websites, on People's Choice voting pages, in emails about the awards, on our social media channels, and in films shown at the awards ceremony, to promote you and the awards. We feature them only in connection with the awards.

Your video always plays on your own voting page. Beyond it, you choose on your nomination dashboard whether it may introduce you to fellow nominees, be featured publicly, both or neither, and you can change that at any time. We review each video before it is shown to fellow nominees or featured publicly. You can also ask us to stop featuring it, or remove a photo or video from your nomination, at any time.

Each photo has a quick automatic check when it is added and normally goes live straight away; one with a concern waits for us to look at it. You choose on your dashboard whether your photo may be shown to fellow nominees and publicly, and we may hide any photo that is not suitable.

Please only add photos and videos that you have the right to share, and that the people shown in them are happy to be included.

07The awards ceremony

Finalists will be invited to the awards ceremony. Ticket availability, pricing and event details are communicated separately. We reserve the right to change the date, venue or format of the event where circumstances require.

08Tickets and bookings

Tickets for the Best British Business Awards day can be booked on this website or through our team. Prices are shown when you book, with VAT added where stated.

Payment is taken by card on the secure payment page of Stripe, our payment provider. We never see or store your card details. Your booking is confirmed once your payment has been received, and your booking confirmation and receipt are sent to the email address you give us.

A booking that has not been paid is held as reserved and is not yet confirmed. To keep your places, please complete your payment when you book. Places that stay unpaid may be offered to other guests.

09Cancellations and refunds

Tickets are generally non-refundable once paid where the awards day goes ahead and you are unable to attend. Instead, you can pass your ticket to someone else, move it to another event or keep its value as credit, as set out in our Refund, Transfer and Credit Policy at /refund-policy.

If we cancel the awards day, refunds will be processed in line with UK consumer law.

If the awards day is postponed or moved to another date, your ticket will be honoured at the new date, or we will offer you another suitable alternative. We will contact you with the arrangements.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

10Transfers and name changes

You can change the name of a guest, or pass your ticket to someone else, free of charge up to 48 hours before the start of the awards day. Please contact us with the booking reference and the new guest name.

To keep tickets fair for everyone, please do not resell them for profit. A resold ticket may not be valid for entry.

11Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos and the awards branding, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws. If you would like to use any of it, please ask us first and we will be glad to help.

12Limitation of liability

We work hard to run this website and the awards well, and provide them in good faith. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss or damage arising from your use of the website or participation in the awards.

13Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14Severability and continuing enforceability

If any clause, provision, statement, term or part of these Terms and Conditions is found by a court of competent jurisdiction or another authorised regulatory or judicial authority to be invalid, unlawful, unenforceable or contrary to applicable law, that finding applies only to the clause, provision or part affected.

The remaining clauses, provisions and terms of these Terms and Conditions remain valid, binding and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and continue in full force and effect.

Where the law allows, any invalid or unenforceable provision will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary to make it lawful and enforceable, while keeping, as far as reasonably possible, its original purpose and commercial intent.

The invalidity or unenforceability of any individual provision does not automatically invalidate or affect the enforceability of these Terms and Conditions as a whole, provided the remaining provisions can continue to operate lawfully and independently.

Nothing in this clause excludes, restricts or overrides any statutory rights, consumer protections or other mandatory legal requirements under the laws of England and Wales.
