Animesh Sundas

I'm Animesh, a Chartered Physiotherapist with over 12 years of NHS experience, a husband and dad of three boys. Together with my wife, Sam, I run Village Physio®, our family-run home physiotherapy business based in Rotherham. I've always been passionate about helping people stay active, confident and independent, particularly older adults who want to enjoy their retirement and continue doing the things they love. My career has taken me from India to the UK, working in hospitals, care homes, rehabilitation units and community settings. I've supported people with a wide range of health conditions and disabilities, and volunteered to help the NHS during the Covid-19 pandemic. Since establishing my private practice in 2021, I've focused on providing compassionate, personalised physiotherapy in people's own homes, taking the time to understand what matters most to them. I'm incredibly proud that Village Physio® has received exclusively five-star online customer reviews since 2021 and was recently recognised as a Nextdoor Fave Awards 2026 winner. I also enjoy giving back through community physiotherapy and exercise sessions, helping local people improve their mobility, balance and confidence. I'm not someone who enjoys being in the spotlight, but I'm proud of what we've achieved as a small family business. For me, the greatest reward is knowing I've made a positive difference to someone's independence, wellbeing and quality of life.
