Venkateswara Rao Suragani

I am Venkateswara Rao Suragani, Founder and Director of Vrishkar Blinds Limited, an award-winning British e-commerce business based in Dartford, Kent. With over 14 years of experience in software engineering, technology leadership and digital transformation, I have always believed in using innovation to solve real-world problems. My entrepreneurial journey began with a vision to create a trusted British brand offering high-quality, affordable made-to-measure blinds and curtains to customers nationwide. Building Vrishkar Blinds from the ground up has required determination, resilience, continuous learning and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. One of my proudest achievements was seeing Vrishkar Blinds recognised as Bespoke Window Treatment Retailer of the Year 2026 at the SME News UK Enterprise Awards. Being nominated for four categories at the Best British Business Awards 2026–2027 is another meaningful milestone. My ambition is to build a nationally recognised brand, inspire other aspiring entrepreneurs and demonstrate how technology, integrity and perseverance can help an independent British business succeed. I believe success is not just about building a business, but about earning trust, creating value and making a lasting positive impact.
